Dayna & Caleb’s wedding in Colorado Springs at Younger Ranch was an unforgettable day with the picturesque surroundings, stunning longhorns, and so much love.

Dayna and Caleb live in Minnesota and have always dreamt of having a destination wedding in Colorado, where they hope to move one day. So when they were looking for venues, Younger Ranch fit exactly what they had envisioned!

It was such an intimate day that allowed them to embrace every moment and spend time with the people they loved most. We had to make adjustments with rain at the beginning of the day, but they didn’t let this dampen the mood and just rolled with it! They still decided to have their ceremony outdoors and it was the right choice, as the sun came out just in time. And the best part: as Caleb and Dayna had their first kiss, you could hear the longhorns in the background! It was a magical ceremony and absolutely breathtaking!

Once the ceremony was over, it was time for the highlight of the day: The Texas Longhorn Experience. This is something you can add to your package at Younger Ranch, and it was so memorable for everyone involved, including me!

We drove down to the front of the property where we were met by the longhorns who were very eager for treats. Rex, the owner of the property, had a bucket full of treats for Dayna and Caleb to feed them, which was so fun! You definitely need to be cautious though, because they’re called longhorns for a reason! But they were incredibly sweet and very comfortable being around people.

During The Longhorn Experience, the owner Rex came up and shared how much he loved that we utilized the entire space and pasture they provide. He mentioned that it was the first time a photographer had asked to take the longhorns to another area, and loved the moments we captured!

The fun continued at the reception where the dance floor was filled and Caleb and Dayna really got to just enjoy time with their family & friends! These two were truly just down for anything. They chased the sun in bridal photos, embraced the rain at the beginning of the day, and just made the most of their whole day, all while enjoying genuine moments with their guests.

It’s a day I definitely won’t forget!
