I had the chance to meet Bailey and Hayden about a year before their wedding at a mutual friend’s Labor Day party. They had just gotten engaged, found out that I was a wedding photographer, and the rest was history. We did their engagement session in Vail and after that began the real fun of wedding planning. This might be one of my favorite weddings of 2024 because Bailey and I talked all the time about details of their wedding.

Bailey and Hayden’s wedding day was absolutely perfect. It was surrounded by so much love from their friends and family. Not only was it a time for them to come together, but everyone was ready to party at the reception!

I was lucky enough to bring my husband with me to this wedding which was also a treat. After we were leaving, I had a few tears in my eyes. I was sad that this wedding was over because it was so fun to be a little more hands on and help with a few things! It’s moments like this that make me so grateful for my job that I get to help curate perfect days for my beautiful couples.

Walnut Grove Ranch Wedding

Walnut Grove Ranch is a stunning, historical vacation rental located in the foothills of Ruidoso, New Mexico. It was originally built in 1868 by Sheriff William Brady, who was actually killed by Billy the Kid in 1878, so it has quite a unique history!

It is 4100 square feet and can comfortably sleep 14, perfect for your family and wedding party to stay right on property. It has a beautiful yard space to take advantage of, and you can find wildlife like wild turkeys or deer right on the property. All of the trees covering the grounds are truly stunning, and it creates a really romantic setting for a ceremony.

It’s perfect for a destination-type wedding, or just gives you the convenience of staying right on property, even if you live in the area!

Blame Her Ranch: This stunning ranch actually offers 4 different venues, has lodging for up to 56 guests, and can accommodate up to 250 people for events. It’s bordered with the Santa Fe National Forest giving gorgeous views, plus extreme privacy!
Leaping Deer Ranch: With 186 acres of land, there’s no shortage of stunning locations for you to choose from for your ceremony, reception, and for photos here. They even have the largest labyrinth in New Mexico, which makes a unique space for you to say your vows!
Log River Ranch: Located in the Mountains of Chama, New Mexico, it has a gorgeous barn perfect for both ceremonies and receptions and surroundings are breathtaking, making it a beautiful backdrop for weddings.
